The 40W Linear Repti Glo bulbs are an excellent bulb that has a high output and distributes energy very efficiently effectively over a wine terrarium. This type of lamp has a 5% UVB output, which is moderate to high. This mirrors a tropical location and rainforest environment, which is important for reptiles that are used to climatological conditions that include high humidity and frequently changing weather conditions, that prevents direct sunlight from reaching them. It is reccomneded that you use the 40W Linear Repti Glo bulbs with the Repti Glo 2.0 or Repti Glo 10.0.
