This filter provides unique multi-stage filtration media for mechanical, biological and chemical filtration, and with unique hang on waterfall design, gently returns clean filtered water to the aquarium. Mechanical filtration removes large particles, biological filtration converts ammonia to less harmful nitrates by beneficial bacteria and chemical filtration further removes impurities by activated carbon media. With patented flow control for water flow and a media basket that prevents water from bypassing, more time is spent on the filtration media for superior efficiency.
