Designed for exclusive use in the hang on, AquaClear 20 Power filter, this activated carbon filter insert improves water clarity by adsorption. It provides the chemical stage of the filter and adsorbs impurities, odours and discolouration. Offering a broad spectrum of organic compound removal in the aquarium, this carbon filter insert is ideal for freshwater and marine tanks, and comes in a convenient mesh bag. It can be rinsed when dirty, but should be replaced monthly, and can be inserted in the top or middle section of the power filter.
